个人简介:
童平,新加坡南洋理工大学数学系副教授、新加坡地球观测所研究员,同时担任模拟与仿真理学硕士项目主任。2007年本科毕业于北京师范大学,2012年在清华大学获得博士学位。2012年9月至2016年8月,曾先后在多伦多大学和斯坦福大学从事博士后研究。他的主要研究方向包括反问题理论、地震成像、电法成像与重力反演,以及相关技术在能源资源勘探、大地震孕育环境、地球深部结构与过程等领域的应用。迄今已发表SCI论文80余篇,其中以第一作者或通讯作者身份在PNAS, EPSL, GRL, JGR-Solid Earth等期刊上发表论文40余篇。目前,他主持数个与反演成像新技术、地热勘查、近地工程勘探相关的科研项目。
报告简介:
In this talk, I will explore the diverse applications of computational imaging across sectors such as medical diagnostics, seismic exploration, and environmental monitoring. Emphasizing the theoretical foundations rooted in inverse problems, I will discuss essential techniques like the adjoint-state method, which underpin advanced imaging technologies. The presentation will highlight practical applications, including ultrasound imaging in healthcare, seismic imaging for oil and gas exploration, and electrical resistivity tomography for groundwater detection and landslide monitoring. I will also address the use of artificial intelligence techniques for hidden feature detection from noise seismic data. Additionally, a case study of the non-invasive geothermal energy potential investigation in Singapore using advanced seismic imaging techniques will be discussed.
